My name is Hailey Renner. I am the owner of En Garde Editing, a literary copy editing and proofreading service. I specialize in creative fiction (e.g., fantasy, science fiction, horror) but have worked on everything from memoirs to day planners.
In addition to my writing and editing experience, I have work history in the natural sciences (ecology, biology, fish sciences), the medical device and sterilization industries, and CNC machining. Articles, scientific papers, and nonfiction works about the natural world (e.g., conservation, animal sciences, outdoor adventure) have a particularly dear place in my heart. Personal hobbies include cycling, fencing, backpacking, go (or baduk), and a newly found interest in baking sourdough bread.
