I provide substantive editing, copyediting, and developmental editing services to academics, non-profit and advocacy organizations, and independent authors. I have extensive experience in the humanities and social sciences, including history, ethnic studies, sociology, public policy, and literature. I edit with careful attention to organization and structure, and I am especially skilled at making complex or technical subjects accessible to a wider audience.
Some of my recent projects have included scholarly books, journal articles, doctoral theses, biographies, textbooks, test prep materials, and general interest non-fiction. I am fully versed in Chicago, MLA, and APA guidelines. My foreign languages include Chinese (Mandarin) and French.
