Dr. Jean Engohang-Ndong is a tenured Professor of Biological Sciences at Kent State University. He is also the Founder of Ekiza-Bridging The Gap, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster access to higher education, persistence, and degree attainment among minority, low-income, first-generation, and rural students through personalized educational support services, including academic advising, mentoring, and tutoring. For over 16 years, Jean has been a post-secondary instructor, teaching a wide range of biology courses, including but not limited to microbiology, general biology, human anatomy and physiology, life on planet Earth, human genetics, and cell and molecular biology. Jean is a fulfilled researcher with a track record of publication in the field of infectious diseases. He has served as an academic editor, reviewer, language editor to ESL researchers, proofreader, and copy editor for over a decade. His goals are to help authors achieve accurate, concise, and explicit content compatible with publication in indexed peer-reviewed journals and post-secondary textbooks in biological and biomedical sciences.
