Jessica Hinds-Bond, PhD, specializes in scholarly monographs in the humanities, Russian literature in translation, and works of drama. She also has experience editing dissertations and articles in the humanities and social sciences (particularly theatre, art history, music, literature, religious studies, Slavic studies, and history). Her work ranges from developmental editing to copyediting and proofreading as well as indexing. She works primarily for university presses and clients in academia.

Jessica earned her PhD through Northwestern University in 2018. She honed her editing skills through extensive work with undergraduate and graduate student writing, both within the classroom and through independent consultations. She has also interned at a university press, where she worked with both the editorial and the acquisitions departments. Jessica completed the editing certificate program at the University of Chicago Graham School in 2017 and has trained in indexing through UC Berkeley Extension.

Jessica brings to her work a keen eye for detail, a love for research and scholarship, and a passion for supporting scholarly writing, new plays, and literature in translation.
