Jillian is an LGBTQ2S+ writer and freelance editor in Saskatchewan, Canada. Jillian provides structural editing, copy editing, proofreading, beta reading, coaching services, developmental editing, and encouragement! She has worked on academic/scholarly books and articles (including papers, theses, dissertations, books, and journal articles), literary works (primarily fiction, creative nonfiction, and drama, but has worked with some poetry books), children’s books, juvenile books, genre works (science fiction, horror, thriller/mystery, general fiction, non-fiction/memoir), and gaming industry projects (from roleplaying source books and materials to standalone adventures to video game dialogue/narrative structure). For more than a decade she hosted a talk radio show about the literary arts, and she has served as a board member with many nonprofits, including book awards, libraries, minor sports teams, and arts and culture organisations. Jillian has her hands in many pots; in addition to writing and editing, she works in the publishing industry, and in her spare time is a musician, an actor, a textile artist, and a gamer. She has worked as a web designer, a marketing professional, a farm hand, and a technical writer.
