I index trade books and scholarly books. Subjects include cookbooks/culinary arts, business, marketing, communications, historical nonfiction, home design, library science, self-help, social sciences, and more. I have indexed more than 1,500 books in the past 20+ years. My degrees are in mass communication (BS, Boston University) and library science (MLS, Southern Connecticut State University). Prior to indexing I worked in corporate communications (producing videos) for a telecommunications research company. I am a former board member-at-large for the American Society for Indexing. Indexing software used is Cindex.
