John Rak
I have extensive experience editing science fiction, fantasy and horror literature, and graphic novels. Specifically, I am the Science Fiction and Fantasy Editor for the Montag Press Collective, a boutique, independent speculative fiction publisher. In my role with Montag I am responsible for choosing manuscript for publication, managing the author relationship, and line editing the manuscript. I am also proud to be a judge for the Indie Book Awards, currently the largest not-for-profit awards program for independent and self-publishers. As one of the more prolific judges, I handle the Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, and Graphic Novel categories – well over 100 books and manuscripts annually.
