Julie Kates Berg

Kindred Pen Editorial Services

I have a passion for effective writing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.

I have fifteen years of experience working for nonprofit environmental organizations. While the primary goal of my environmental work has been to protect wildlife and natural areas, writing and editing have been major components of all my jobs. I have edited, written, and contributed to a variety of communication materials including reports, fact sheets, press releases, static web content, blogs, letters to lawmakers, congressional testimony, children’s educational books, and nonfiction works.

In addition to wildlife conservation, my editorial interests include environmental health, eldercare, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, public policy, travel (especially Africa), and food.
