Katrina Diaz Arnold is an editor, writer, and content consultant with more than ten years of professional publishing experience. Previously with the editorial team at Scribner, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, she has worked with numerous New York Times bestselling authors. An experienced developmental/substantive editor, line editor, and writer, she has been a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association for over nine years and runs her own full-service editorial company, Refine Editing.
Katrina specializes in a variety of adult fiction, specifically in the fantasy, romance, and thriller genres, but edits some choice young adult/new adult fiction, as well. Her team at Refine Editing edits a wide array of both fiction and nonfiction.
Passionate about books her entire life, Katrina has a BA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University and a MA in Shakespeare from University College London. She loves nothing more than helping an aspiring author refine their work into the best, most vibrant version of itself.
