Keenan Ellis
I am a Developmental Editor with specializations in fiction and self-help. Based in Northern California, I focus on helping an author take their book from the initial idea to a finished manuscript. I often function as bowling bumpers to the author’s bowling ball. In our early sessions, we decide which direction the author wants the book to go and then, over the course of the writing process, I help keep them on that agreed upon path.
I work primarily in self-help books, psychology being a particular specialty of mine. However, fiction, especially science fiction and fantasy, is a first love.
I have a B.A. in English and Film Production from UMass Amherst. I wrote for Television and YouTube animated shorts in Los Angeles for six years and created two acclaimed narrative podcasts. Both can be found here.
