Kenneth W. Ford
retired
I am a physicist and a writer, now retired. I have published four textbooks (Blaisdell, Wiley), four books on science for the general reader (Harvard U Press, World Scientific), and one book on flying light planes and gliders (H Bar Press). I also co-wrote the prize-winning autobiography of the distinguished physicist John Wheeler (Norton). I have served as developmental editor for three books (Harvard, IOP Press), and recently created a Web site to serve physics teachers (www.basic-physics.com). My personal and professional lives are laid out at www.kennethwford.com.
Now past 90, I have no personal writing project under way but am looking for writing and/or editing jobs to keep engaged. When not facing words, sentences, and paragraphs, I feel adrift.
