Kimberly Jaye Banks

Agaze Editing

Kimberly J. Banks has been working as a freelance academic editor / professional academic editor since 2015 and established Agaze Editing in 2019. Agaze Editing (http:www.agazeediting.com) is a manuscript editing service, book editing services and dissertation editing services.

I earned my Ph.D. in English from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2001. I taught at several universities and colleges for 20+ years. As I limited my academic commitments, I increased my freelance editing work.

I have worked with novice writers taking introductory college-level first-year writing course, juniors and seniors taking advanced and professional writing courses, graduate students developing and completing masters and doctoral dissertations, early career faculty developing articles and aiming to publish their first book to gain tenure, and mid-late career faculty working on their second and third books.

I am invested in your success. I have worked with thousands of people, of various ages and levels of writing experience, to find your voices, become more confident, and  improve your writing.

I help you produce clear, concise, and engaging writing.

I will always respect your voice and use strategies to make your writing more compelling and persuasive.
