Linda Michel-Cassidy

Linda Michel-Cassidy is a writer, critic, teacher, and editor. She has experience in editing at all stages, and has edited several anthologies, including layout. She has done selection editing for a number of presses, and has juried for several publication prizes. She teaches editing and revision as well as creative writing. Her specialties include writing and editing for the arts, experimental prose, and fiction. She has a law degree (Mc George), two MFAs in writing (fiction from Bennington and Poetry from Vermont College) and another in visual arts (CA College of the Arts), an editing certificate from UC Berkeley, and is conversant in Spanish. Her most recent work has included editing for journals and small presses, fact-checking, copyediting and proofreading memoir, and developmental edits for a novel. She is currently senior reviews editor at Tupelo Quarterly and anthology editor for the Marin Poetry Society. Her short story collection will be released in early 2024.
