I provide developmental editing, line and copy editing, manuscript evaluations, and coaching for authors of book-length manuscripts. My areas of specialization include fiction, memoir, and story-based nonfiction narratives.
I also work as a writer and editor of eBooks, white papers, thought leadership, and other longform content for B2B, nonprofits, and law firms.
In addition to writing and editing, my background includes 10+ years as a writing instructor at venues such as the Newberry Library, Columbia College Chicago, William Rainey Harper College, and the Barrington Writers Workshop. In 1998, I co-founded The Writing Studio at Harper College, the first and most comprehensive non-credit writing program in the Chicago area.
