As an author, I’m adept at using my imaginative thinking and creative flair to bring my books to life in engaging and entertaining ways. After writing and editing press releases, ad copy, business emails and industry content for friends and family for many years in addition to the editing I did through my critique groups, I decided to officially enter the business world as a creative freelance writer and editor.
I have professionally published thirty novels under a pseudonym, including Amazon best-sellers. Before becoming a professional writer, I earned a Master’s in American History at The University of Kansas, and taught high school Social Studies for ten years. I have a copyediting certificate from Writer’s Digest, and have worked as a copyeditor on manuscripts as well as scholarly articles and government reports. I was the ghostwriter for a Hollywood actor’s memoir, and, most recently, I subcontracted with a defense firm as lead writer and editor on a report for the Deputy Secretary of Defense. My most recent book release is a western steampunk, alternate history novel, release date 9-20-22.
