I’m a queer, feminist editor who specializes in editing academic manuscripts of all sorts. I hold a PhD in history; and over the past ten years, I have helped scholars craft and publish their scholarship.

I approach my clients holistically. I know that our work together involves your entire body-mind-spirit. So I proceed gently and give lots of encouragement.

I edit book manuscripts, dissertations, articles, and more in the humanities and qualitative social sciences. I offer developmental editing and stylistic editing.

I am also a publication coach for folks struggling to just finish the dang thing.

I have subject-matter expertise in history, Latin American studies, and sexuality studies (PhD, UNC Chapel Hill, 2014). My work is also informed by the knowledge I’ve gained from publishing my own journal articles and book monograph.

Formerly, I was assistant editor of an academic journal, where I edited both Spanish- and English-language manuscripts for linguistically-diverse writers.
