My name is Rachel Paul, a seasoned publishing professional with extensive copyediting, proofreading, design, composition, copywriting, indexing, and project management experience in a multitude of disciplines. I am the owner and operator of Lotus Editing and Design and bring with two decades of experience in publishing.
I have extensive experience working in nonfiction scholarship; I also have a strong background working with ESL authors and am extremely well versed in a wide variety of styles (CMS, APA, AMA, and MLA, just to name a few) and disciplines (STEM, humanities, religious titles, young adult, fiction, and more).
I am committed to helping my clients achieve the highest-quality publications and have worked with countless independent authors, university presses, academic publishers, and professional organizations. I am a former managing editor of a major publishing services company, a skilled graphic designer and compositor, a seasoned project manager, an indexer, but most of all a publisher: I love working in a collaborative setting to bring a creative publication to life.
