Reba Chaisson received her doctorate in sociology from Loyola University Chicago, and spent 11 years in academia as a professor and postdoctoral research fellow. She has publications in poverty, film, teaching sociology, and most recently, a review of a book on climate change migration and an article on social media and youth.
