My name is Becker and I am a developmental editor with a multi-disciplinary background. I trained as a literary translator, earning my Master of Translation Studies from Monash University. I also have a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Monash University where I took classes on literature and creative writing.
My editing career began in the translation industry, as well as working with academic clients, before I transitioned to novel editing. These days I mostly work with romance and fantasy authors but I love editing all genres of fiction and creative non-fiction.
My editing philosophy is to understand you and your vision for your novel so I can give tailored advice to help you meet your goals. No two books are the same, so no two edits will be either!
Editing can be expensive so I offer a variety of services to suit all budgets, from writers looking for the standard developmental editing experience to those seeking high-level feedback and a quick turnaround time.
