As a professional copy editor and line editor, I’m focused on fiction and narrative nonfiction. However, I have professional copyediting and copywriting experience working with scientific manuscripts, blog posts, and other website content.
I have formal training through the University of Washington’s editing program. I’m proficient in Chicago style, AP Style, APA formatting, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and hardcopy editing marks.
I’ve had the joy of editing several fiction and nonfiction manuscripts, and I spent several years working for a literary magazine. Helping authors craft and polish their stories is my greatest passion in editing, and I work hard to ensure that each manuscript reflects its author’s intention and unique voice.
