Taryn Aldrich

I help international scholars publish their research in top-tier journals. My approach to academic writing is centered around clear, concise language that speaks to industry stakeholders. I collaborate with clients to emphasize the importance of their findings and to identify real-world applications that can promote broader social change.

I provide high-quality, personalized editing to faculty, graduate students, and academic organizations. I focus on language editing of scholarly manuscripts and frequently work with high-stakes material in education, healthcare, hospitality and tourism, psychology, sociology, and STEM. In addition, I provide developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading services for conference materials, grants, research proposals, and textbooks.

I am available for copywriting projects and consulting as my schedule allows; I am also open to ongoing collaborations/contract work. Many of my clients are non-native English speakers, especially from Asia.

Edited manuscripts have been published in the following journals: Computer Networks, Current Issues in Tourism, Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Destination Marketing & Management, Journal of Education and Learning, Journal of Travel Research, Psychiatry Research, South African Journal of Philosophy, Tourism Management, Turkish Studies, and others.

Domestic client affiliations include Brookings, Harvard University, Temple University, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, and University of South Carolina. International client affiliations include Edith Cowan University (Australia), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Waikato (New Zealand), Xiamen University (China), and Zhejiang University (China).
