"Ad copy and corporate marketing materials provide a wealth of opportunities for a keen-eyed proofreader." —Sharon McInnis, instructor

As the end of the year approaches, so does our annual break. All the EFA’s traditional courses wrap up by the end of November, and new ones don’t start until the end of January. But it’s not too late to catch what might be our last webinar of the year. On November 16, Jessica Klimesh will present Innovative Writing, Innovative Editing: Offering Feedback on Work That Takes Risks, a one-hour webinar that addresses a tricky question: When a writer pushes the boundaries of form, what’s the editor’s role?

It’s also not too early to register for spring courses. We’re excited to have a brand new traditional course starting on February 14: Sharon McInnis’s Proofreading for Businesses and Ad Agencies. In just five weeks, you’ll learn everything you need to tackle the unique challenges of corporate proofreading, whether you’re an experienced proofreader or just getting started.

Whether you want to study at your own pace or learn with an instructor’s direct feedback, the EFA has everything you need to broaden your skill set and client base. As always, our library of recorded webinars is available for immediate viewing, so be sure to check it out for dozens of helpful sessions, including many free recordings for members. Not a member? Join today.
