Hello Fellow EFA Members of the Carolinas!

“Oh, Spring! I want to go out and feel you and get inspiration. My old things seem dead. I want fresh contacts, more vital searching.” — Emily Carr

What better time for learning and doing new things than Spring? So, what do we have planned for you? Read on!

Recent Events: Our February meeting was a success! Thirteen members attended and we chatted about our favorite ways to secure new clients. We especially appreciated hearing about the highly recommended Editor’s Association of Earth (EAE) Facebook Group and some of their subgroups.

Upcoming Events: March Meeting
Focused roundtable discussion about our preferred editing software (or related methods), with an informal presentation or two from chapter members followed by a Q & A session.

Date & Time:  Mar 31, 2021 11:30 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)

RSVP to chap_nc@the-efa.org for the Zoom link and passcode.

Future Meetings:

We’re trying to get ahead of the time flying by (how is it March already?), and planning to set up meetings further in advance. We’re still new at being chapter coordinators and we appreciate your patience with us. We’ll be taking some of you up on your kind offers of help.

To engage with members who have different schedules, we’d like to move some meetings to evenings or weekends, as not everyone is able to meet mid-day during the week. Ideally, we’ll have a mix of daytime and evening meetings throughout the year.

We’ll be reaching out to some folks for more formal presentations soon and we’ll be sure to get notice for those meetings up farther in advance.

Wishing you good health and lucrative freelancing,
