Houston chapter: What Every Editor Needs to Know about Small Business and Taxes (virtual)

March 27 @ 6:00 pm 7:00 pm CDT

The next EFA Houston meeting will be Wed., March 27, 6 to 7 p.m. Central, online (free). Returning speaker Mike Kowis, Esq., will present What Every Editor Needs to Know about Small Business and Taxes.

About the presentation: Tax season, the most confusing time of year, is upon us! It’s a pretty safe bet that almost everyone needs a little guidance to keep their books in order. Join us for a webinar regarding your responsibilities as a small-business owner and how you can keep your sanity during tax season.

About the speaker: Mike Kowis is a corporate tax attorney, business law professor, frequent speaker, and award-winning author. He has published eight nonfiction titles on various topics he feels passionate about, including his latest book, entitled The Little Black Book of Tax Wisdom: Quotes, Quips, & Quiddities Every Tax Advisor Should Know. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree plus two law degrees, and he currently practices tax law in Texas.
