Join the EFA’s Twitter team for Freelance Friday, a monthly opportunity to meet with other freelancers across the globe in an energetic exchange of questions, answers, and insights into all things freelance.

The Twitter team hosts the discussions for an hour. Each month a different topic is the focus. Sometimes a guest specialist in the topic is on board. And we’ve been known to kick back and just enjoy a virtual party on occasion. After the hosted portion of the chat, you can keep discussing tips, pitfalls, the merits of working at home versus renting an office, your favorite tools, unsolved problems . . . anything you’d like to discuss about the freelance life.

To participate, just log in to Twitter at 3 p.m. Eastern on the date shown on the Events Calendar for the next meeting and search for the hashtag #EFAchat to pull up the conversation. It’s open to EFA members and nonmembers alike.

If you have specific questions you would like addressed, please email them in advance to twitter@the-efa.org and we will try to work them into the discussion.

If you are not already following the EFA on Twitter, we encourage you to connect with us. Our handle is @EFAFreelancers. Once you follow us, tweet that you are an #EFAMember so we can follow you and add you to our members list.

If you have a topic idea for a future #EFAChat, questions about #EFAChat, or questions about the EFA on Twitter, feel free to email them to twitter@the-efa.org or efatweeters@gmail.com.

And if you missed a chat or would like to revisit another one, you can find our more recent transcripts in a rich format at Storify.
